Uri Geller once tried to help his favorite football (soccer) team in England win their division play off game by placing energy infused crystals around the pitch. They lost the crucial game 5-1.

I remember my family gathering near the television in the 70s. Uri was on, and he was going to get all the broken watches in the U.S. working again. We had our broken watch, and followed his motions, incantations, etc., etc. It didn’t work, but it was fun for me to think it would. Of course it didn’t. Sounds like it doesn’t work for football, either.

I’ll say this for him, he’s not scared of being found out, most of these guys would never try something that might not work.

Of course, if they’d won the game he never would have stopped talking about it.
